Following his University degree in administration Real Estate Option, Mr. Pierre Dufresne did his internship at the firm Dufresne et Houlé inc. until his accreditation in 1986. He then joined the firm Boivin Couture, Dufresne inc. in Montreal as an associate until 1994 when he leaves the region of Montreal for the Eastern Towships. Mr. Dufresne continued his career within the firm of Savary, Paul & Associés inc. until 2004 when he founded his own firm Évaluation Pierre Dufresne inc.

In January 2009 his firm is amalgamated to that of Savary, Paul & Associés to become the firm now known as Dufresne, Savary & Associés inc. In the course his career, Mr. Dufresne acquired a broad range of experience in residential, commercial and industrial appraisals and market analysis for diverse purposes such as financing, selling, taxes and dispute purposes and expropriation for the expropriated as well as expropriating authorities.

Mr. Gérald Savary began his career as an appraiser and mortgage lender at the Trust Royal in Sherbrooke from 1977 until 1984. He then founded his own firm Savary, Paul & Associés inc. until the amalgamation with Évaluation Pierre Dufresne inc. in 2009, today known as Dufresne, Savary et associés inc. Mr. Savary is well renowned all over the Eastern Townships for his expertise in commercial, industrial and multifamiliy building appraisals. He is also a reference in appraising major projects of real estate developments.  His experience covers a broad range of appraisal purposes in financing, selling, taxes, litigation, insurance and expropriation. Mr. Savary has been involved since 1995 in different committees and boards with the OEAQ and has received the award of commitment in 2010.

Mr. Grenier began his appraisal career as a technician for the Beauce-Sartigan Regional County Municipality for a summer job in 2002-2003.  He then did his internship as a trainee appraiser for an appraising firm in Sherbrooke until his graduation as a Chartered Appraiser in 2005. Thereafter, in 2007, he joined the firm Évaluation Pierre Dufresne inc. where he began his career mostly in residential and multifamily building appraisals. Since the amalgamation with the firm Savary, Paul & Associés in 2009, Mr. Grenier practices mainly in commercial, industrial and executive property expertise. He has also acted as an expert witness in Court for dispute cases. As well as producing appraisal reports, he is also involved in the process of reviewing reports. Mr. Grenier also taught a class in 2010 at le Séminaire de Sherbrooke for their program in Real Estate Appraisal Technic. Furthermore, since 2008, he is a training supervisor for future Chartered Appraiser in the firm. Finally, he is responsible for the creation of our centralized ‘FileMaker’ data base allowing the acceleration of the research process of comparable sales and a prompt execution of the entire appraisal report writing process.

Mr. Guillaume Fafard began his career in real estate as a carpenter and ironworker. For 6 years he developed his knowledge in residential, commercial and institutional construction. His passion for buildings and his desire for new challenges quickly led him to pursue his higher education in real estate appraisal. Recently graduated from l’Université Laval, Mr. Fafard joined our team in 2012 and is currently in the process to obtain his certification as a chartered appraiser through l’Ordre des évaluateurs agréés du Québec.  Mr. Fafard works mainly in the residential area, but also participates to more complex reports in commercial and multifamily buildings
